When using a conference system such as the one in Principals Conference Room at Kildare, you may find that you need to choose the conference system's microphone to avoid muffled sound issues.
The way this is done varies depending on which video conference platform software you are using, however see below for some examples
ZOOM
- Click the arrow next to the microphone
- Select correct microphone
MICROSOFT TEAMS
- Click profile picture in top right and choose Settings
- Click Devices, and choose microphone from drop down menu
In these examples "Microphone Array (Realtek Audio)" represents the microphones built into the laptop.
If I was connected to a conference system, I would be able to choose "Logitech cc3000e conference system" or similar option.
