A Service Request is a type of ticket that is designed for specific tasks, such as requesting a new ID card or requesting support for an AV event. All requestable services live in the Service Catalogue on the helpdesk website.


To request a service:


  1. Go to https://helpdesk.lavalla.vic.edu.au
  2. Click on "Request New Service"
  3. You may be prompted to sign in. Use your Lavalla email address and password
  4. Click on the service you wish to request (e.g. Replacement ID Card)
  5. Fill out the fields in the form and click "Place Request". If you are requesting this for someone else, tick the "Request for someone else" box
  6. Your request will be attended to as soon as possible.
