Sometimes it is helpful for our support agents to see what is appearing on your screen to get a better idea of how to help you.
How to take a screenshot:
On Microsoft Windows:
On your keyboard, locate the Print Screen button, and press it.
An exact copy of what is appearing at the time you pressed this button will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste the screenshot (by pressing Control + V) into a document, email or support ticket.
(please note that on some computers you may need to hold the Function (FN) key while pressing the Print Screen button, as it may be combined with the Insert key)
On Apple Mac OS X:
On your keyboard, press Control + Command + Shift + 4
An exact copy of what is appearing at the time you pressed this key combination will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste the screenshot (by pressing Command + V) into a document, email or support ticket.
How to insert a screenshot into your support ticket:
After taking a screenshot, you can insert it in to your support ticket by pasting it into your message/reply.
On Microsoft Windows: press Control + V to paste the screenshot into your message/reply.
On Apple Mac OS X: press Command + V to paste the screenshot into your message/reply.
