On occasion, our IT technicians may request to control your computer remotely in order to provide technical support.

To do this, you will need to open the TeamViewer Quick Support application and provide us with a unique session ID and password. 


Windows Devices:

  1. Download the TeamViewer Quick Support application available here:
    https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.exe
  2. Once downloaded, open the TeamViewerQS.exe file
  3. Provide our technician with your unique session ID



    These are referred to as Your ID and Password in the TeamViewer application


Apple Mac OS X Devices:


  1. Download the TeamViewer Quick Support application available here:
     https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.dmg
  2. Once downloaded, open the TeamViewerQS.dmg file.
  3. In Finder, open the TeamViewerQS disk then launch the TeamViewer QuickSupport application.



  4. Provide our technician with your unique session ID



    These are referred to as Your ID and Password in the TeamViewer application.


    Note: You may need to grant access to Screen Recording and Accessibility on your computer for the session to work.

    Make sure the box is ticked to grant access to Team Viewer.
    You will need to do this for both Screen Recording and Accessibility.
