Lavalla's printers are set up so you can email a document to the printers. 


To print via email:


  1. Save the document you wish to print as a PDF with a descriptive name (e.g. "Portfolio - Final PDF"). If you're unsure how to save as a PDF, refer to this solution
  2. Open Microsoft Outlook and create a new email
  3. Click on "To.." and search for Printing Uniflow.Click on "To ->" and then on "OK"
  4. Click "Insert File" and then find the PDF you created in step 1. Click on it to attach it to the email
  5. Click on "Send". If you are asked to add a subject, click "Send Anyway", as the printer doesn't look at the subject of the email,


Some important things to note:


  • The document needs to be sent from your Lavalla email address, otherwise the printer won't know who you are.
  • Your document needs to be in A4 or A3 size, as those are the only two paper sizes the printers have.
  • Your document should be as small as possible, as there is a limit to the size of documents you can send via email
  • If your document isn't appearing at the printer, make sure it's in your Sent items. Also look for reply emails from Printing Uniflow, as it will send you an email if it can't print the document. Finally, ensure that you have enough money on your printing account
